Book Review: Of Triton by Anna Banks

Image
My rating: 7/10 Goodreads average rating: 4.02/5      *If you would like to read my review on Of Poseidon, the first book in this series, please look to the earlier post.*          Of Triton was published on May 28th, 2013. It is 246 pages long and one of the three main books in the Syrena Legacy series.      The second book in the Syrena Legacy series, Of Triton, by Anna Banks really raised the bar from the first book. While the first book contained a bit more humor than this one, Of Triton possessed gripping scenes that made you go back and ask if what you read really just happened.      At the end of the first book, the author left us with a cliffhanger that made it nearly impossible to stop ourselves from reading the next book. *SPOILER ALERT* At the end of the first book we found out that Emma's mother is actually Nalia, the lost princess of Poseidon house.      In the beginning of this book,...

Book Review: Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines

My rating: 8/10  Goodreads average rating: 4.02/5 stars      One book I read recently was titled Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines. Before this book, I had never read an Abbi Glines book. Ever. I know I've been missing out. Published on August 25th, 2015, and is 328 pages of an amazing read.      The events in this book take place in a small town called Lawton, Alabama. This book switches between the perspectives of two main characters... West and Maggie.      West is a golden boy. He is popular, good-looking, football player, has all the girls after him, has all the guys fearing him, but his life isn't perfect. His father is suffering from cancer and the doctors are incapable of helping him. West can not talk to anyone. Only him, his mother, and his father know about his sickness. There are those, like his best friend Brady, who would support them if he knew, but his father wishes to deal with his illness alone. West will respect h...

In case you guys didn't know, I love Katie McGarry. Her Pushing the Limits and Thunder Road Series are my favorite. Due to the release of the third book in the Thunder Road Series, I will have reviews on all of her other books later. The third book focuses on Violet and Razor as the main characters. Below is more information about the book that I was asked to include along with the cover reveal. I hope you guys like the cover because I think it is seriously awesome. L ONG WAY HOME Synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Violet has always been expected to sit back and let the boys do all the saving.  It’s the code her father, a member of the Reign of Terror motorcycle club, raised her to live by. Yet when her dad is killed carrying out Terror business, Violet knows it’s up to her to do the saving. To protect herself, and her vulnerable younger brother, she needs to cut all ties with the club—including Chevy, the boy she’s known and loved her whole life. But when a rival club comes a...
