A Court of Mist and Fury Review

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Mass

My Rating: 8/10 stars

Synopsis: Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

Review:  Oh my gosh! Have you read the first book? If your answer is no... go away! Don't come back! No, I'm just kidding go away read the first book and then read this book because it is amazing.
A Court of Mist and Fury was not only an interesting book where I fell in love with the characters, but it also had good writing. Did you hear that? Did everyone hear that? A BOOK WITH AMAING CHARACTERS AND GOOD WRITING! (In a loud-speaker voice) It's like finding the perfect boy who looks cute, and has a personality.
Sarah J. Mass really outdid herself with this next installment in the Court of Thorns and Roses series. This book really shed a clear light on all the events of A Court of Thorns and Roses. Now that I've read it I look at the first book in a completely different perspective.
OKAY! This is the part of the review where spoilers come in. People spoilers will ruin this book for you, so please do not continue reading if you haven't read the book.
People who have read this you know how perfect it is. Okay you just know.
Rhysand was positively my favorite character in this book! I know he was a jerk in A Court of Thorns and Roses, but the complete role reversal was awesome. I don't want to make it sound like I predicted that Tamlin was a tool because I didn't, but I never felt quite right about Tamlin. I mean he tried to hook up with Feyre rather than save her the day before her last trial.
The array of themes in this book just sent my head in a tailspin. There was friendship between the Inner Circle, there was pain from the years they had spent apart, there was forgiveness between Feyre and Rhysand. This book was mainly about Feyre growing as a character now that she was Fae. Furthermore, I love how through her relationship with Rhysand Feyre realizes that her and Tamlin weren't meant to be.
