Image
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Mass My Rating: 8/10 stars Synopsis:   Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two. With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights. Review:   Oh my gosh! Have you read the first book? If your answer is no... go away! ...

Red Pill? Blue Pill?

Image
I know, two posts in one day from me is an anomaly, but I just can't help sharing this. I must admit I found this on Pinterest, so I did not create this. Just putting that out there. Protecting my interests. Disclaimer: This is not plagiarism! My question to you now is: which would you choose? In a completely hypothetical sense I would take that red pill from this person's hand and never give it back. Just want to make a note. Mom, this does not mean I am leaving you. This is hypothetical and hypothetically I would rather exist in a world where I could date Rhysand from A Court of Thorns and Roses than exist in a world where my main occupation is homework. However, I would also steal the blue pill from the person's other hand because: why not? I may still have to choose between living in a fictional world, or having characters live in mine, but I have a plan for this. PLEASE DO NOT WORRY! I HAVE A PLAN! Because: After stealing that blue pill from the person...

Who Will You Choose?

Image
Ok I saw this and just had to share it! I know I don't have many followers on this blog, but please comment on who you would choose. 5 Characters: Jace from the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare (because he is a "badass shadowhunter"  Rhysand from A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Mass (because he is perfect) Wolf from the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer (not only is he part wolf, we could just feed him tomatoes and he could live off of those) Wanda from the Host by Stephenie Meyer (because someone has to be thinking about achieving peace) Adrian from Bloodlines (we need comic relief and he has spirit magic, so why not) Quotes from each character's books: Jace: Rhysand: Wolf: Wanda: Adrian:

Book Review Pushing the Limits by Katie Mcgarry

Image
Synopsis :       "I won't tell anyone, Echo. I promise." Noah tucked a curl behind my ear. It had been so long since someone touched me like he did. Why did it have to be Noah Hutchins? His dark brown eyes shifted to my covered arms. "You didn't do that-did you? It was done to you?" No one ever asked that question. They stared. They whispered. They laughed. But they never asked.      So wrong for each other...and yet so right.      No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have...
